Clinical studies

Science isn’t an afterthought, it’s the starting point. That’s how we build our formulas on evidence — not on promises.

Our approach

From literature to formula.

Every formula starts with the science. We study published, peer-reviewed research on active ingredients, doses and forms of absorption. Only when the evidence stacks up do we develop a product.

Each production batch is then checked for quality in our FSSC 22000-certified production environment in the Netherlands, independently audited by Kiwa. Evidence over promises.

The pillars

What the research focuses on

The four questions every formulation must answer

Bioavailability

How much of a substance actually reaches your bloodstream and cells.

Effective dose

The dose that research associates with a measurable effect.

Safety & tolerance

Good tolerability and a favourable safety profile.

Purity

Free from heavy metals, contaminants and unnecessary excipients.

Research areas

What the research shows

Soberly summarised, with the limits of the evidence

Research into liposomal formulations points to higher bioavailability for certain substances, because the active ingredient is better protected during digestion. For our liposomal vitamin C, an independent clinical study (CT-0007-17, n=24) measured 1.76× higher bioavailability at the same dose. The size of the difference depends on the substance and the formulation.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress — a health effect recognised by EFSA.
Glutathione plays a central role in the body’s own antioxidant defences. Research looks at its contribution to neutralising free radicals and to detoxification processes. There is currently no EFSA-authorised health claim for glutathione; we therefore only describe what the research is investigating.
Ashwagandha is being researched in the context of perceived stress and recovery. We follow this research closely and communicate about it soberly.
“We don’t claim more than the research allows. For us, transparency isn’t marketing, it’s a principle.”
